March 26, 2008. Today is a very special day, for 3 giddy reasons

First, it’s my 3rd year anniversary with my fiancee and I have taken a leave of absence from work for 2 days to spend much needed quality time with her hehe I bought her something I never wanted to buy her, or wanted her to buy for herself, because it is absolutely ridiculous to spend 40k++ for a darn bag. But she’s been wanting a Louis Vitton bag since 2 years ago, and I can’t resist not buying her what she has obviously wanted for so long. So what the heck, I got her one when I had a trip to KL around 3 weeks ago. Funny thing is, I had tried to “fish” from her the kind of bag she wanted in LV, so we window-shopped in Greenbelt. She wanted a white one, so I tried pointing out the one I picked out for her, named Beverly, and her reaction was “Ay, I don’t like that!” Now that really burst my bubble hahaha! I hope to God that she changes her mind when she sees it, otherwise I would have thrown away quite a significant amount for something she doesn’t like

Second, there’s this charity thing called World Vision, where you donate a particular amount of money every month, “adopting” a child and trying to help through monthly donations. The organization had no idea on anything about me and my fiancee, just our names and how much we were giving the kid every month. When they had sent us the picture of the child, whose name is Erika, a very nice coincidence was that her birthday was on March 26! So that was quite a nice surprise. I don’t know what it means though, but that must be a good thing.

And third, I’ve always had a pretty good guesswork on things, whether it’s intuition or just pretty lucky guesses, I’ve somehow been able to make manifest what I THINK are things that may happen. Oooh right? haha! But I have had a very good feeling about winning the lotto for the past week hehe! That’s really absurd when you think about it, the chances you have of winning one is almost impossible. So you pick 6 numbers out of 49, the draw is on Thursday, March 27, and the jackpot is at almost 200 million pesos! Yumyum. And I had a waking dream last week that I had bought lotto tickets TODAY with 6 lucky numbers, 12 entries of which are numbers picked personally by me (the number 26 is of course there!) and my fiancee, and 1000 pesos worth of lucky pick numbers for the other entries. And hopefully when the draw is done… I’ll win and not have to work for the rest of my life! Let’s see how that goes hahaha

One more day and the long 4 day break will finally start! Perfect time to get some much needed rest from a very stressful two weeks at work

You know how there are some images you look at once then look away? Then stop and realize that what you saw couldn’t have been right? So you look again and then you get it? This picture above, I looked at once, then looked again, and then looked yet again… and still can’t believe it. So that must mean one thing… it must not be real hehehe!

I’m not sure if it’s just me, but don’t you just hate it when you go to a page in Friendster or most blogs out there, and see a whole line of YouTube videos until the end of the page? I mean come on! That kinda defeats the purpose of doing a blog right?! But when I saw this, it just blew me away. I couldn’t help but put ONE video on my blog… so here it is…

Nerds will be nerds… but the person who did this has some mad skills! He made almost a minute and a half worth of music using only the default sounds in Windows! When I read the description, I thought “yeah right!” just like you’re doing now! But were we wrong!

And as nerdy as this guy is, he doesn’t even end the video when the music stops… he goes on to explain how he did it and what he used to do it haha! Props to Robbi!

As it turns out, I bought 320 pesos worth of lotto tickets last night, that’s 16 entries to try and win the P184,722,336.00 jackpot (that’s the exact number now) The results came out last night and the winning numbers were: 05 06 15 17 21 38

My “winning” ticket number was 06 16 20 21 35 38 which means I got 3 numbers right, and from what I know, I win something! I tried searching how much or what prize that would be for, but to no avail. That’s weird, there is no site that actually tells you how to compute if you have won 3, 4, or 5 numbers, not even the official PCSO site! In any case, will be finding out today, at least it should cover the 320 pesos I shelled out right?!
