Stupidity in the NBA Playoffs 2012

It’s been a year and 28 days since my last blog post, and I find it funny that the only reason I’m posting now is because I can’t post a GIF of the stupidity of Amare Stoudemire in Facebook! Well, it’s actually a funny re-enactment, but too good for me not to spread around, nonetheless.

Outside of this, there two other stupid things that happened 3 days into the NBA playoffs this 2012. One of them being DRose suffering an ACL injury that will cost him 8 months… for what? Because Tom Thibodeau chose to keep Rose in the game with 1:10 left in the 4th quarter leading 99-87.  If it were any other case, where your STAR player wasn’t previously suffering multiple injuries, I think it’d be okay to keep him on the floor. But knowing he’s still recovering from all of them, you’d think a coach with any brains would take him out as early as possible to avoid any unfortunate injuries like this.  Then again, he was never a good coach to begin with. Too bad for DRose.

And for seconds, we have the always-intense Mark Cuban, owner of the Mavericks, who, in his heated tirade behind the Mavs bench, “accidentally” hit Brendan Haywood with an uppercut! We all know how happy he is with Haywood’s play, so I don’t think this was an accident. Unfortunately, I can’t find any video of it yet.

So since I don’t have that, I’ll leave everyone with a GIF of the Black Mamba, way way back, showing his now-teammate Matt Barnes, that he’s tough as nails and unwavering. Just for you Mitch.
