Looks to me like you didn't have a good time there because of the service but you still gave it 4 stars. I guess the food and all the other perks in the hotel were really that good? Here's coming from a poster in Dubai who has stayed a night at the place. It's not really paradise on earth - it has limitations. 1. People up in arms about Sammy - the whale shark the resort is supposedly "caring for" that has become a caged tourist attraction; 2. As The Palm is reclaimed land and Atlantis, being in the crescent of the area, the super long beach does not have its waves (which is what lures me to coastlines btw); More on my review blog: http://lodrose.multiply.com/reviews/item/11 Oh, we got in with discounted rates (950 AED - please let's not convert to PHP as that will drive me insane!) AND were invited to go back for 2 nights FREE because of the shabby treatment and condition of the place (no water in the entire Palm island in the morning & so FREAKING hard to get a room)when we checked in. Hate to be the melancholic part of this post. Here’s coming from a poster in Dubai who has stayed a night at the place.
